Come and work with us!

Some people say that “dugnad” is the most distinctive of all Norwegian words. It is a tough term to translate with precision, but it means something along the lines of a voluntary team effort – which is exactly what a festival is about. We are a small team and we need your help to make one of Norways biggest music festivals happen!

So, here is the deal: You work a minimum of 24 hours and we’ll give you the entire festival experience for free, as well as lots of new friends, nice prices in the bars and food stalls, and even some festival merchandise.

You have to be 18 years or older by the 11th of June 2018 to volunteer for Bergenfest. No formal qualifications or organizational experience is required.

Our awesome team of volunteers are divided between several sub-groups such as Bar & Serving, Catering, Drivers, Runners, Info, ++. More info and descriptions of each group can be found in the application form.
