Cap Carter will perform at Bergenfest 2024 Friday, June 14!

Representing a new wave of singer-songwriters who rose to fame on TikTok, Cap Carter has skillfully crafted songs from real-life experiences, leading to a record deal with Island Records Australia in 2021 and the re-release of his debut single “Relapse,” which was initially released as a stripped-back demo. 

Born in Manila, Philippines, Cap Carter was raised in Western Sydney, Australia, by his US Navy father after his mother left when he was ten. These early life experiences became a rich source of inspiration for his deeply personal songs. Finding solace in music, Cap began to share his soulful acoustic tracks online, influenced by a wide array of artists from Bob Dylan to The Notorious B.I.G. 

Looking ahead to 2024, Cap Carter is set to embark on an Australian tour, but before that, he is ready to captivate the Norwegian audience at Bergenfest 2024.
