Susanne Sundfør will perform at Bergenfest 2024 Wednesday, June 12!

With the new album "blómi", one of the most significant Norwegian artists of our time, Susanne Sundfør, is finally making the trip back to Bergenfest, almost ten years after her last performance at the festival.  

Five years after Sundfør redefined his career with the folk-inspired and emotional "Music for People In Trouble," the Norwegian musician, artist and producer explores even more deeply his personal mythology with soul-touching "blómi." Blómi", which means "to blossom" in Old Norse, shares aspects of Susanne's life story related to Norse mythology, language and ancient Nordic matriarchal cultures, but is above all a love letter to her young daughter. 

The concert will explore the full spectrum of Sundfør's career, from the subdued folk-inspired songs to the danceable pop hits. This will be a rare opportunity to experience an artist who not only creates music, but also shares his life experience and creative journey. We look forward to experiencing new sides of the multifaceted artist at Bergenfest next year.
