Brooke Combe will perform at Bergenfest 2026 Wednesday, June 10.
With a voice that goes straight to the core, Brooke Combe has become one of Scotland’s most compelling new artists. The Scottish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is best known for her breakthrough album Dancing at the Edge of the World from 2025, a release that marked a decisive step in an already remarkable career.
In a short time, the Edinburgh-based artist has built an impressive résumé. From selling out King Tut’s and signing with Island Records in the middle of a global pandemic, to touring to full houses and winning Best Female Breakthrough Artist at the Scottish Music Awards at just 23, and receiving Rolling Stone UK’s Play Next Award in 2024.
Now 25, she stands as a defining presence in modern indie soul. A retro-inspired sound and a distinctive vocal style have earned strong support from BBC, Rolling Stone UK, NME and The Skinny, while the mixtape Black Is The New Gold revealed an artist with emotional depth and a clear artistic direction.
In 2025 Brooke Combe was scheduled to perform at Bergenfest, but had to cancel after being offered the rare opportunity to open for Lionel Richie on his UK arena tour. In 2026, she finally makes her long-awaited return to the Bergenfest stage. Expect a concert where timeless soul meets a contemporary voice, delivered with raw presence and unmistakable authenticity.
