Ka2 will headline Bergenfest 2026 Saturday, June 13.
Formed in Bergen in 2018 by Sondre Alvestad and Didrik Thulin, Ka2 began as music made for friends. Nevertheless, they quickly grew into one of Norway’s most distinctive and successful electronic pop projects. Colourful, psychedelic live shows and a unique blend of floating pop and hard-hitting electronica soon struck a nerve, both in Norway and internationally.
Today, Ka2 count more than 65 million streams, a steadily expanding fanbase and regular appearances at the country’s biggest festivals. Their catalogue includes collaborations with Gabrielle and Kjartan Lauritzen, the debut album Evig Eventyr (2022), and a run of sold-out club shows across Norway.
Following sold-out tours in 2024, three EP releases in 2025 and a summer packed with festivals — including a special guest role on Kaizers Orchestra’s stadium tour — Ka2 now step into a special role at Bergenfest: headlining Saturday, continuing the festival tradition of a Bergen-based act closing the night. With new releases on the way in 2026 and a live show built for celebration, one thing is certain: the party continues.
