Nektar will perform at Bergenfest 2026 Thursday, June 11.
With their debut album Magnolia and singles like “Sitt Ner (Lilla Jag)” and “Älskar Dig (Oändligt Föralltid)”, Nektar have quickly established themselves as one of Sweden’s most talked-about new bands. The Gothenburg quartet became a natural part of the Swedish indie rock scene almost overnight, building a loyal fanbase since their start in 2024. Shows have sold out across the country, and they were named Breakthrough of the Year by Gaffa.
In 2025, the band took several major steps forward, including a headlining show at Pustervik during Stay Out West and the release of their second album Om du behöver mig. The record was warmly received by both audiences and critics, and was followed by a sold-out autumn tour. They have also been out on the road with Hurula, further cementing their position as one of Sweden’s strongest new live bands.
