Synne Vo spiller på Bergenfest onsdag 10. juni 2026
Synne Vo surprised many when she quickly established herself as one of Norway’s most compelling new pop voices. Writing in her local dialect, the artist from Lesja brought rural life straight to the charts with songs like “Lykke te”, “MVH”, “Heime” and “Seksten”.
Her debut album Kanskje det går te helvete (2024) is a personal, unvarnished portrait of upbringing, belonging and love, and was awarded top scores by both Aftenposten and Dagsavisen. Synne Vo is also a sought-after songwriter, having written for artists such as Chris Holsten, Emma Steinbakken, Julie Bergan and Amanda Delara.
This spring she has been a familiar presence on television across the country through Hver gang vi møtes, where she has already stood out with “Uerstattelse”, her version of Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable”. Now she brings both her own songs and these new interpretations to the stage, and we look forward to experiencing Synne Vo and a small piece of rural Norway at Bergenfest this summer.
