With a passion for catchy melodies and high-energy songs, Dagny has established herself as one of Norway’s most exciting and sought-after pop artists. Over one billion streams, international press coverage from The Guardian, Billboard, BBC, NME and NYLON, sold-out shows across Europe, and more than two million monthly listeners on Spotify confirm that the energetic artist from Tromsø continues to spread pure pop joy to an ever-growing audience.

Since her breakthrough with the single “Backbeat” in 2016 – premiered on the legendary Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music and streamed over 50 million times – Dagny has cemented her position as one of Norway’s biggest pop stars. Her hit “Somebody” won Song of the Year at P3 Gull 2020, topped the Norwegian radio charts for 18 weeks, and became the most-played song on Norwegian radio two years in a row.

With two critically acclaimed albums – Strangers / Lovers (2020) and ELLE (2024) – and six Spellemann Award nominations (Norway’s equivalent of the Grammys), Dagny continues to impress both as an artist and songwriter. She has also written for international stars such as Katy Perry and Kygo.

In December 2023, Dagny sold out Oslo Spektrum with her biggest headline show to date, before being personally invited to join Justin Timberlake as support on his 2025 world tour – with concerts in Poland, Norway, Italy, and England.

In 2026, Dagny begins a new chapter with the release of her upcoming album and a brand-new live production, tailor-made for major festivals and arenas. But fans won’t have to wait until next year for new music – today, she releases Jupiter, a standalone project featuring three acoustic tracks. These songs are part of the upcoming Netflix series Home for Christmas, premiering on December 14.
