The Bergenfest 2026 lineup is complete!

Global stars and Bergen artists side by side! At last, we’re revealing the full lineup for Bergenfest 2026—featuring international crowd favorites and a strong dose of West Coast character.

Among the newly announced names are Dermot Kennedy, Natasha Bedingfield, Veronica Maggio, The Kooks, and Of Monsters and Men. They join a festival program that already features major acts such as Lewis Capaldi, Dagny, Sigrid, KA2, The Hives, Synne Vo, and Tobias Sten.

The festival also continues its strong tradition of highlighting artists with roots in Western Norway – something that has long been a key part of its identity. Among these is Fjorden Baby!, who have long since achieved legendary status both nationally and in their hometown of Bergen. Bergens Tidende described Bendik’s latest album as “the best Bergen rock in a long time,” while Zupermaria received top marks from the same newspaper following her Bergenfest performance in 2022. Nelly Moar, Linni, and Side Brok are also confirmed for this year’s festival.

Bergenfest promoter Andreas Lindborg highlights one artist in particular that audiences shouldn’t miss:

“Sienna Spiro is one of the most exciting artists on this year’s lineup. She was confirmed for Bergenfest last summer but unfortunately had to cancel. In hindsight, we’re actually glad, as her career has really taken off recently—especially following the release of the beautiful single Die On This Hill. Don’t sleep on this one!”

Natasha Bedingfield brings with her songs that still fill dancefloors and spark sing-alongs around the world. With her breakthrough hit “Unwritten” in the early 2000s, she didn’t just emerge as a new pop star—she became part of a broader cultural moment. Her songs didn’t just climb the charts; they embedded themselves in the zeitgeist and have continued to resurface in new contexts ever since. At Bergenfest, everything is set for a performance packed with pop anthems that are already second nature to much of the audience.

Veronica Maggio continues to leave a lasting mark. In September 2025, she set a new audience record at Nya Studenternas in Uppsala, where more than 17,000 fans filled the venue. Just a few months earlier, she also broke attendance records at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. In 2026, Maggio will perform only a handful of exclusive shows, including Bergenfest, bringing with her a repertoire of songs that many already hold close.

The Kooks broke through with their debut album Inside In/Inside Out in 2006. Songs like “Naive,” “She Moves in Her Own Way,” and “Ooh La” quickly made them one of the biggest bands of the British indie boom, with over two million copies of their debut sold. Twenty years later, those tracks have found a new life. When The Kooks arrive at Bergenfest, they bring a catalog that still lives in your bones—and a comeback that feels just as much like a fresh start as it does a nostalgic return.

Of Monsters and Men broke through with their debut album My Head Is an Animal in 2011, led by the global hit “Little Talks,” which quickly took the band from Reykjavik to stages around the world. Since then, they’ve released several albums and built a strong international following. In 2025, they released All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade. With songs like “Television Love,” “Ordinary Creature,” and “Tuna in the Can” in their repertoire, this is set to be a highly anticipated return from a band that has been a defining part of the indie soundtrack over the past decade.
